Lakers Roll Over Pelicans to Reach Championship
LeBron James Leads the Charge

The Los Angeles Lakers have booked their spot in the NBA In-Season Tournament final after blowing out the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night by a score of 133-89. LeBron James led the charge for the Lakers, notching a triple-double with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.
The Lakers jumped out to an early 17-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. James was unstoppable all night, hitting 13 of his 22 shots from the field and 4 of his 8 attempts from three-point range. Anthony Davis was also impressive, posting 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Pelicans were simply outmatched from the opening tip. Brandon Ingram led the way with 20 points, but no other player scored more than 12. The Lakers' defense was stifling, holding the Pelicans to just 37.5% shooting from the field.
With the victory, the Lakers improve to 20-10 on the season. They will face the winner of the other semifinal between the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks in the tournament final.
