Gardening guru Monty Don gives a health update after quitting rumors

Monty Don has given a health update after reports he would soon be quitting Gardeners World.

The 65-year-old presenter has been a mainstay on the BBC gardening show for over 20 years, but in recent months there have been rumors that he is planning to step down.

However, Don has now taken to social media to reassure fans that he is not going anywhere just yet.

"I'm not quitting Gardeners World," he wrote on Twitter. "I'm still very much enjoying making the show and I'm very grateful to the BBC for giving me the opportunity to do so.

Don's health update comes after he was forced to miss a recent episode of Gardeners World due to a back injury.

The presenter said he was "gutted" to have to miss the show, but that he was "on the mend" and would be back soon.
