Miami Takes Back the East!
Miami Dolphins make NFL history with a shocking win over the Buffalo Bills
A decade of dominance ends as the Bills lose in the Divisional Round to their division rival.
Miami ended the Bills’ three-year AFC East reign on Sunday with a dominant 34-31 win.
The victory sends Miami to the AFC Championship for the first time since the 1992 season.
Buffalo led 17-0 at halftime, but Miami rallied to tie the game in the fourth quarter.
Miami would go on to win the game on a last-second field goal by Jason Sanders.
The loss ends Buffalo’s run of three consecutive AFC East titles.
It also marks the first time the Bills have lost a playoff game to the Dolphins since 1998.
The Bills came into the game as heavy favorites and were looking to reach the AFC Championship for the fourth consecutive season.
However, they were unable to overcome a strong performance by Miami’s offense and defense.
Miami’s offense was led by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns.
The running game was also productive, as Raheem Mostert rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown.
The defense was led by cornerback Xavien Howard, who had two interceptions in the second half.
The Bills were led by quarterback Josh Allen, who threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns.
However, Allen also threw two interceptions, which proved costly.
The Bills will now have to regroup and try to make another run at the Super Bowl next season.
The Dolphins, on the other hand, will face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship next week.
