Renewed and Reimagined After Chance Perdomo's Death
The highly anticipated spinoff of "The Boys," Gen V, has been officially renewed for a second season by Amazon, Variety reported on October 19, 2023.
Revamped Storyline
Executive producer Eric Kripke revealed that the show's team has reimagined Season 2 following the tragic death of Chance Perdomo, who played the character of Rocket. "We had to almost rethink everything," Kripke said.
Cast and Release Window
Although the full cast has yet to be announced, it is expected that the main characters from Season 1, including Jaz Sinclair, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Lizzie Broadway, will return.
As for the release date, no official announcement has been made. However, based on the production timeline for Season 1, it is estimated that Gen V Season 2 could potentially release sometime in early 2025.
